Lockdown Day &”%$* Do you need more ideas when it comes to lockdown activities?
Who else has stopped counting the days we have been in lockdown? I definitely have. I have also stopped planning out the days and activity schedules for my 3 year old toddler. I used to plan out the days with various lockdown activities and now we are just going with the flow. However, one thing that Havana and I always love doing together every day is drawing with our Chalkola markers.
Freedom of Expression – Bringing out the artist
I bought them after seeing another Instagram influencer post creative pictures and loved the idea. If your child is anything like mine and likes to rebel, draw on walls, do the opposite of what you tell them. Then Chalkola are the markers for your child. Lockdown activities
Before we had the pens I tried to get my daughter to use the normal draw and trace books to learn how to spell. However, after receiving the markers we traced and drew on the windows and she learned how to spell her name within 2-3 weeks.
Here are a few lockdown activities we came up using the markers making it fun a fun way to learn:
- We took animal crackers, drew the first letter of the animal with the pen and then tried to draw the animal as well using all of the colours available.
- Every day we chose a letter of the day and drew /painted things that started with that letter
- We traced around each others bodies against the window
- We made drawings on our mugs/glasses
